It would have been a great place to have dinner if the weather was good. It is a restaurant you can watch the sunset quietly while having a fine dinning. The food is slightly dare, taste ok. There is not much cocktail options, especially not much happy hour specials.
Suberb setting, on the lagoon behind Manuia Resort. We happened to stop in to On The Beach restaurant because we saw the sign when we were driving by anti-clockwise (sign is behind hedge if you are driving by the other way, entrance is across from Island Car and Bike Hire). Our first visit was for lunch, the service was great, the staff warm and friendly and the food was very good. We have been back 6 more times for breakfast lunch and dinner. Each time we had the same warm friendly service and great food.
The prices are competitive for restaurants on Rarotonga. If you have the time to go for dinner, the view of the sunset is spectacular. This is our second visit to Rarotonga and our first discovery of OTB. Too bad we didn't find it the first time we were here.
Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Happy Hour 3 to 6. Thank you Phillip (head chef and owner), Laiza, Gabby and the rest of the staff for adding so much to our wonderful time in Rarotonga.
