  Got my scooter licence in 2 mintues - $20! If you have a NZ Bike Lerner Licence then you don't have to sit any test. Just go to the police station and give them your NZ licence and they'll do the rest.

  I was quite disappointed with the drivers license testing process. I failed to pass the theory test first time around because of the wording of my answers, and the difference in the Cook Island WOF time period. And we ended up having to make a total of 4 trips to the police station which was frustrating on our Honeymoon. Travellers be aware, make sure you book in advance, turn up early, read the local road code and bring all your documentation.

  Did you know that you can easily make local driving licence, if you have altready other international licence? One of the coolest souvenirs you could get from the islands.
